I'm not lonely

I'm not lonely

A Poem by Quinn

I'm not lonely
I have friends and family
People to talk to
I'm not lonely I have no reason to

I'm not lonely
Just sometimes I want to talk
But I want to talk more
I talk quite enough

I'm not lonely
I like sitting on my own
Just at 3am
That's not lonely, that's just weird

I'm not lonely
I just like seeing people meeting up
Because it reminds me of what I've got
No remorse or envy involved

I'm not lonely
Not in that sense, more distant
Trying to grab to the lines
And instead of being normal I look needy instead

I guess I am lonely
Yet I have no reason why
But it doesn't matter
You're busy anyway

No worries
It's fine
Don't burden yourself
I'm just lonely
