Winter

Winter

A Poem by Quinn
"

I chose to write a poem about a random photo as selected on a random generator. Picture is below.

"

The river is still, the snow is too deep

The air is so cold, the sun light is bleak

The snuggle of the duvet, the steam off your tea

The warmth of your heart, the air where you breath

No matter which weather, you like more

You can see the opposite of which you did before

The crisp sparkling snow, the air in your lungs

The magic around you, the snow on your tongue

The steam up of glasses, the layers of clothing

The price of hot drinks, and the excessive moaning

Benefits come along side the pain

So wrap up, stay warm and please don’t complain

A timely reminder that all seasons have their own beauty and one is as important as the other.
I love the excuse for extra cuddling that Winter provides (as if an excuse is needed, lol)
Lovely imagery penned here Zoe.
