just me dreaming again :)

Parallel

 

Is there really a parallel universe?

 I am beginning to think maybe it is true;

and if there is do they know about us?

 Altered versions of both me and you.

 

 Or maybe it’s where friends and family go,

 perhaps they have a second chance to live?

Having learned the error of their ways

 they now coax us from afar to love and give.

 

Then again it could be the dawn of time

 many billions of light years ago.

 I don’t really think it would be then

 but of course, we wouldn’t know.

 

It could be a reverent, peaceful place,

 where all the old souls are born again;

 now I could think that would be perfect

 for them to pass across into peaceful men.

 

It could be our future which is another past

 or our past the other way around.

 Whatever the truth of it when we do find out

 it is sure to be awesome and astound !

A mind boggling subject to contemplate Stella. My Dad was a physicist. Alas my knowledge borders on breadcrumbs. All I can say is, could it be worse than where we are now? I am looking for comfort and roses in my old age. That’s what I want to think about:) A thought provoking write from you.
