Witches Wish

Witches Wish

A Poem by Moonbeam Rose

Everytime I turn towards the sky
I give thanks and let out a sigh
I stand here in a garden of roses
I pray for better times

Where there are no evils
that we need to face
just a place where
peace means peace

a place where children
can run and grow
without fear
of hidding really low

a place where voices
raise in song
a place where death
doesn't belong

yet I know that
this place can never truely exist
I still give thanks to the powers up above

I hope and pray
that just one day
peace will find its way
into our homes

Such a simple wish that we are never granted these days, if only life could be as simple as making a wish and having it come true.
