Love is Pain is....

One of my many explanations of love...

In love and in pain. But no hurt means no gain. I love you and you me. I never promised it was easy. -Skaila

Love is pain.

No matter the reason or the object. 

It hurts you and consumes you as you make sacrifices for it. 

Who in this world can survive love? 

 

Love is gain. 

Always returning to you some reward of its choosing. 

Never failing to cause some reaction to your satisfaction. 

Who in this world would not want to love? 

 

Love is the ever-flowing mixture of happy and sad. 

It gives and it takes, never once selfless. 

Everything love does is for itself. 

Who in this world can love without giving, love without taking? 

 

Love is never ignorance. 

How could you see? 

It's never knowing where you are going. 

Who in this world can handle that risk? 

 

Love is a path that one takes. 

It leads you from one state to another. 

There is no turning back. 

Who in the world could survive love?
