The woman I love

The woman I love

A Poem by Sean_Norman

The woman I love is running through my head.
But when I roll over she isn't in my bed.
It's hard to talk, hard to breath.
Knowing all along she won't be with me.

I look for love in all the wrong places.
It feels like I'm floating around in a bunch of empty spaces.

The woman I love I call her name.
What can I say I'm the one to blame.
I broke her heart left her to die.
How was I suppose to know she couldn't fly.

Everything about her I hold dear.
Deep in the darkness of my own tears.
As I lay down for one last time.
I wish she was with me when I wrote this rhyme.

Awe, that's sad. So much heartbreak conveyed, can sense your pain.

I'm glad people can read the poems I right and feel the way I felt when I wrote them.
