I'd known the lies, known the hurt,

Smiled a story to the world,

That's all my smiles ever were.

Unfortunately they'll not notice.

If all I ever did to you was hurt,

Then obviously I didn't hurt you enough.

Maybe with more pain you'll learn that others hurt too,

That crying tears of blood hurts everyone,

Hurting couldn't have done much,

When all you did was tear at my own being.

If all I ever did to you was love,

Then I guess I never really learned.

If only you'd noticed how much I had hurt

Maybe then you'd stop the thing's you'd do.

Not even when I truly loved you.

Then I never had the guts to do more.

I may have been weak and used and tortured,

But I never hated enough to make you stop.

I'm definitely not the one I was before.

Then maybe it was not enough for two.

Caring doesn't matter when I'm doing both parts,

Caring doesn't matter much to you.

If caring for your welfare didn't kill me off,

Then something else inside me surely did.

All I ever did to you was give you all I was,

Apparently that's not enough for you.

It's fine I'm sure, I never really was worth it.

Still I think I deserve just a little of your attention.

This was just phenomenal. I have no idea what emotional dissonance, or heart break even, that you're experiencing right now story, but it's certainly the fuel to an amazing fire. Unleash it still and don't let up.^^
