Banged up couch cushions

Banged up couch cushions

A Poem by Cory Barrett
"

It's been a while to write a fun one.

"
I woke up this morning,
and went to the door.
The bill man was calling,
but I didn't have more.

You woke up this morning,
and had something to eat.
I went to work....
been starving all damn week.

Baby i'm tired.
I'm so tired of waiting for you.
I'm so tired of waiting,
I'm walking dead blue.

I don't want this house.
I don't want this car.
I don't want yo momma,
to near or to far.

I done think of last week
I done think of last year.
I done think of the headaches,
and all of my fears.

Baby I'm tired
I'm so tired of waiting for you.
Get you a*s of the couch,
and find something to do.

Your butt getting bigger,
and i know it aint for me,
You mouth getting bigger,
and it costing me a fee.

So go get a job,
or go get a man.
He can have all he wants,
so long has he's pay'n!

And tell him to invite me to dinner too!
