Hidden defences

Hidden defences

A Poem by Styxmeti

The hidden soul is looking through the window of the mask,
hoping to be seen by the light inside,
trying to escape the gravity of defenses built,
reaching for the portal of vulnerability,
opening the lock of honesty,
slammed shut by the other side,
blasted in the darker pit of loneliness.

Not always easy to remove yourself from darkness into light but all is possible - might be scary to fear the change but once it’s over will be the best thing ever full of peace 🌹

I relate to this poem so much. A trapped soul aching to reach out. And all the failed efforts.
This is a very emotional poem. Loved it dear :)

I Really could grasp the desperateness and will to keep fighting. Straight to the point! Great work
