Nobody knows?

Nobody knows?

A Poem by Suditi

Nobody knows?

The moon is broken tonight,
 It has that stupid crack.
The wind, a bit too cold,
The night, a bit too black.

The stars are stealing away their glance,
Trying to escape my confrontation
Of broken trust,
Look how some have become so dim!
And some are hiding behind
Those clouds of dust.

The trees have bowed down,
And they are whispering quietly,
"We don't have the answers you need,
But we do feel pity."

And then there are those little flowers,
Who have closed their eyes,
In innocent hope of being passed by unseen,
I guess even they don't know,
Why we hurt,
Why life gets mean?

There is lightening in the sky,
But the rain seems to be in a fix,
Wondering maybe, what would it say,
If I ask for answers I long?
What blunder did I commit,
Where did I go wrong?

A few birds are flying here and there,
Mocking my inability to fly
And reach elsewhere.
Somewhere,
Where old friends don't turn their faces away,
Somewhere,
Where the night is as faithful, as the day.

This is very well written, good grammar, good spelling,an example of the real high standard of English teaching you must have at home, with a lot of simple, lyrical beauty, and some startlingly good metaphors, the first verse is especially good.

By our common will, the stars represent creation and the sun, the nature of man. We are learning to realize that there is much that needs to be aired between the two and in ways that are compatible with our common needs. But first, man must come to realize his origins, ask for guide and make a fair effort to get to know how the stars were born, how we were created, what's a sampradaya etc.

Its poignant for the intelligent mind of man to ask the queries you do but to find out for real the answers, takes a life long committment through thick and thin which few are prepared to do volitionally. It is the time for man and the gods to come together on the issues. A great write on the perspectives in such an inquiry.
