I Can't

There are some things I can’t write about,
No matter how hard I try,
The words never seem to come out.
I try not to lie,
But it’s hard sometimes.
How can I know I won’t be banned,
For imaginary crimes,
That you just don’t understand?

How can I trust that it’ll be okay,
When everything else is upside down,
And I seem to get hurt every day?
My smile stays a frown,
Because I know whatever you believe,
What ever you will say,
Everyone will always leave,
It’s inevitable; going to happen anyway.
That’s only reason number one,
Though the other’s much the same.
When all is said and done,
Will you realize that this is not a game?
