The labyrinth

The labyrinth

A Poem by SunnyWithAChance

The labyrinth

Up is down and down is up.
Twisting and turning but I'm still stuck.
This fog that shrouds, clouds and makes me blind. Showing me what I want to see and I'm lost in my mind.

This labyrinth.

Where down is up and up is down.
The wind blows and I don't know whether to smile or frown.
Traveling with this carnival am I the star or clown.

That labyrinth.

Where in is out and out is in.
Scaling the walls, and in the depths of sin. There's this scorching heat but is there someone to let me in?
Do you even want me in?

The labyrinth

Where out is in and in is out.
Changing with the scenery but I'm still locked out.
There is this frost that settled and I'm trying to thaw out.
Frozen with fear but fear of what. I do not know but I feel it's cold cut.

That labyrinth

Where you reside and we hold hands and stand side by side.
It's maddening this yearning desire but the fear is still there, do I set your a fire...
With a blaze of lust to consume me.
Can I come in or will you pursue me.

This labyrinth

Where right is wrong and wrong is right.
Would you let me walk pass or stand with me and fight.
Discover the unknown and conquer whatever is in sight.
Chase the sun and let whatever this is shine bright.
Illuminate the path.

Or, maybe shed some light.

In the labyrinth.
