Bleed The Ink

Bleed The Ink

A Poem by Kayla K

My poem dedicated to Courtney. It's an older one, but I still love it. You're awesome Courtney.

Pen to the paper

Let the ink bleed

Emotions not flowing,

let yourself be freed

Feel your heart cry

and let the tears out.

Not through a knife,

but instead through the ink

in a whisper or shout

Breathe in the music

Dance in the hope

Put down the knife

Write down your heart,

a new way to cope

Ink dotting paper

Flowing like tears

Release all the pain,

from the past few years

The words will save

Now free, flying high

Forgetting the pain

Gravity, you shall defy

The depression shows

Words that release you,

bring hope to others.

And as the future unfolds,

many lives you will rescue

A savior to all

Showing off hope

A light in the dark,

you are the brightest

You'll make your mark

Protect with your umbrella

Breathe the oxygen

Be the safe harbor,

for the lost, the broken

The hopeful world warrior

The scribbles on paper,

uniquely shine through

Create the best dream

The world, you'll renew

Keep saving the world

You'll be the difference

An angel in the making

Show us your brilliance

Small town , NY

I'm a cyclone of myself, a caterpillar delight still finding my wings. A balloon stuck up in the clouds, no one can bring me down from my high. Shattered into pieces, be careful when you pick .. more..
