A young queen

A young queen

A Poem by Raylene

Blue green eyes
Short platinum hair
A small figure.

Delicate small hands.
A smile that has dimples.
Pale skin with freckles to spare.

Short at five foot two.
Curvy figure.
Full lips.

A small delicate woman.
Glasses to help her see.
She may be beautiful and have Grace.
As many women do.

Every woman is a queen.
I am one myself.
I look for my king.

To share my throne.
To beckon my name with love.
I have been close befire.

I have yet to hear my name however.
Beckoned by my true king.

Kara is such a short name.
I will know though when he is my one.
For any true queen know when she has her king.
For he will say her name long and slow .
To him even your name is a sweet sound.

To hear it is the call of true never ending love.
As it should be between a queen and king.

we can hear it in the inflection...the way someone says our name...we can tell if we are the one...

and we all have that ability and possibility to be Royals when it comes to love.

Thank you for your kind words
Very sweet and magical. Great job with the imagery. I myself envisioned a fairy-like woman with a pixie cut. The soft hope in this is very heartwarming. Nice job!

Thank you :)
I agree. Every woman can be a queen. I like the message in this piece. It was conveyed very well. Nice work.

thank you so much
The description of the queen is very well written and so is the poem. It's true that every girl is a queen herself and searches for the king of his life!
very well written!

keep writing :D
