Without you there is no me

You know love is true when it kills you.

The pain of loving you it hurts,
It hurts my inside and out.
When I'm apart from you I feel empty,
For I am nothing without you.

I just don't get why you love me,
For I am no one special.
Yet you kiss the pain of life away,
And brush away my scars.

The thought of being without you,
Is simply too unbearable to think,
As my heart is yours,
And without it I'd be dead.
