T'was A Day

T'was a day without the warmth of sunshine, 

if she did not see her reflection in his eyes...

She thought of him as a Prince Charming,

 upon a white stallion; galloping; 

galloping to a castle in the sky...

Like Rapunzel, letting down her hair

baby blue eyes and skin so fair 

 T'was day without sunshine, He said, "farewell."

Once upon a time, a glass slipper ago

unlike Cinderella, she fell down the rabbit hole...

But a reflection of a wolf was in her eyes

 A wolf in sheep's clothing; a disguise,

Within misty mountain tops of the fog,

That is what you get when you kiss a frog.
