Dewdrops of Morn

Dewdrops of Morn

A Poem by SyberRose

Winds carry thoughts to distant places

Like fluffy seeds of a dandelion

While love blooms within moon phases

 And the starlight of Orion

In mandarin flames of the dawn

Remnants of the night trickle down

Teardrops in dark eyes of a fawn

Disappear as they echo to the ground

Tears become dewdrops upon roses,

And the morn awakens without a sound.

And the wind of the light of dawn

Drift to the other side of the moon

Where the lavender twilight hour

Sleep’s in the ripples of a dark Lagoon.

Thank you and nice to hear from you...glad you enjoyed...Rose:)
Such beautiful imagery in this one. I always enjoy reading a piece that truly gets to the heart of standing within the axis of natural beauty--I can see the stars, feel the breeze, and above all, I can see the many phases of the beautiful moon. Such a tapestry woven here of delicious images and emotional references. Well done.
