Que Sera,Sera

Que Sera,Sera

A Poem by SyberRose

~Que Sera, Sera

Whatever will be ~ will be

                 in fickle seasons of love~

                                As autumn leaves fall

            like a wounded dove~

The heat of summer still clings to the skin

as whispers of love haunt from deep within

Velvet roses wilt ~  tears of ~ forlornness bloom

                within essence of yesterday's perfume

And as the last leaf of autumn clings in the snow

autumn is gone...as smoldering embers flow

And as the cleansing rains pour into the sea

sometimes we get ~ what we wish for

whatever will be ~ will be.

Sometimes loves fades just like the summer flowers or falling leaves, but it will re-emerge once more, as will the flowers and new leaves when winter ends and spring beckons and that's just the way it is !

Creative & imaginative poetry Rose, inclusive of nature's wonders and that always lights my fire !!

thank you Tom...and so nice of you to stop by and visit today...Rose
I totally loved this. Keep it up. The title reminds me of the song "Que, Sera Sera," from the anime "Ashita no Nadja."

You're welcome, Rose. Feel free to check out my song "Out Of Earth."
Very simple and sweet, but well worded. Good job.

Thank you Sammi Fay....i'm happy you enjoyed...Rose:)
Is there any image that has struck me lately than that of a wounded dove hurtling ground-wards in a death spiral? NO!
Que sera sera is a phrase that makes me think that we are sometimes just mannequins puppets in this great play of Life
Thought-provoking Rose

A lovely picture of the black rose. It radiates a foreshadowed aspect for what your poem is truly about. Which is spiritual tranquility while dealing with life as it comes by with every second & minute account for. As where focusing on what's best for ourselves in the long run. Great work SyberRose. You should publish a special volume for your writes because you've been on an eloquent role lately. :)

In your beautiful style, you have given an important reminder - even when we don't get what we wish for, whatever will be... Very nice, Rose!

thank you so much Rita and hope you have a restful weekend...after your busy two days...:)
Ah, yes, sometimes we get what we wish for and sometimes we regret wishing for it. However, what is is and what will be will be.....we have to deal and move onward. No other choice, is there? The images you created with your words were so beautiful. You took us through the seasons. I liked this one a lot. Lydi**
