Aura of Seduction

Aura of Seduction

A Poem by SyberRose

I fall like silk organza

upon dulcet tones of the night

as long eyelashes flutter upon

the encounter of your earlobe

  as pearlescent beads

whisper upon passionate pores

The candle of night empurples

the shadow of make believe

 as the tango of candlelight

consumes us like a sponge

 And the aura of seduction

surrounds our soul;

and I wish time could stand still

as teardrops flow slowly

into a meandering river of no return

The wraith of romance

vanishes in the twilight hour,

just before the scent of the morning dew

and the chatoyant luster of love

                        remains a fleeting mystery.

This is so beautiful, I'm in awe of how you always find the perfect words and create such a strong image in my mind... It has such a melodic flow and describes a moment that I think everyone longs to have in their lives... Once again, another great read :)

thank you Hannah so much for peeking in...Rose:)
This could be written in a foreign language by you and it would still be really good to read and recite not doubt, a masterful piece full of aura and atmosphere.

Thank you so much Cassie...so glad you enjoyed this and it is always nice hearing from you...hugsss
Very beautiful. I really like your choice of words for this poem. "Empurple" is not a word I hear everyday, however, you've managed to use it perfectly.

Great choice of vocabulary in this one, Rose. The romantic fantasy is rich and the longing is very real. Beautifully written. Lydi**
