A Poem by Sylo's Rose

My need to run grows day by day

My need to love slowly withers away

As the moon grows close

A howl fills the air

Cage rattles with fury

Caged.... Traped.... Confused

Full moon Raises...

Change starts to stir

Fur pressing out

Cage closes around strong shoulders

Slim shoulders

Claws scrap the concrete floor

Fangs clash with silver bars

Silver digging into fur and and skin

Burning Fury raises

Caged... Enraged...

Laughter close around

The door opens

Freedom at last

I'm not sure if you meant it that way, but as I was reading this I pictured a werewolf in pain.

Nicely written and it captured my attention from line one.
