It comes from the soul

When you write,

It begins with a small idea,

Then grew into a thought.

At first it may have been insignificant,

But now that matters not.

'Cause no matter shape, size, nor content,

It comes from the soul.

 

These thoughts spawn new ideas,

From these ideas more thoughts will come.

Each thought will continue to expand,

Even though you feel the work is vacant,

It is impossible to regard as bland.

'Cause nothing can be boring,

When it comes from the soul.

 

Whether it is poetry, song, or story,

Each will be unique in its own little way.

This is because to each writer is a style,

That when refined can easily regarded as piquant 

Therefore to develop is defiantly worthwhile.

Because it will help you express

This is part of your soul.

Well this is a poem I wrote in hopes of expanding my vocabulary a bit. It kinda failed and didn't turn out that great, well atleast in my opinion.

No, I don't think it failed at all. I thought it was beautiful. I loved it. Can I make one teensy suggestion, though? In the first paragraph, second sentence down, I think "it grows" works better than "grew", if you don't mind me saying. Keep writing! (:
