Deja You!

Deja You!

Deja You...

I stepped out,
to come back in,
started over,
just to begin.

it's all so new
this Deja vu,
is it me,
or is it you?

I remember this poem,
now it's here again,
Destiny is calling,
but will I ever win?

The slightest change,
or no change at all,
even dice rolled over,
always land where they fall.

Can I change it this time?
would it even show?
if it's not the same,
how would I know?

I get the weirdest feeling,
when I walk out my door,
I've been in this spot,
I've seen this before.

I know it sounds crazy,
like I'm being paranoid,
label me what you want,
I can still feel the void.

the hairs always rise,
on the back of my neck,
when riding in a car,
just before we wreck.

I know it's going to happen,
but before I can say a word,
everything goes into slow motion,
trying to talk seems absurd.

I wrote myself a note,
to leave myself a warning,
but when I woke up,
it was gone in the morning.

I thought it was all just a dream,
till I found the impression on a pad,
I was out shopping for a new notebook,
it was the last one that they had.

Deja Vu is kinda scary at first,
but you get used to it after a bit,
no sense letting it cause you confusion,
it will only make you want to quit.

just keep on pushing thru it,
like it is your own personal game,
never mind if all the things you see,
somehow always seem the same.

your the author of this story,
the producer of this show,
if you don't like the way it is,
you decide which way to go!

Create your own world,
fill it with your dreams,
who cares if to the rest,
life is not what it seems.

Let them stop and wonder why,
life revolves around you,
maybe then they will strive,
and realize it's all just Deja You!
