I'M GONE BY T. PINA

I'M GONE BY T. PINA

A Poem by PENS FOR PEACE /TJ CALIFORNIA
"

A REALEATIONSHIP SPAWN IN HELL IS FINALLY OVER!

"

I’m Gone

We will never find forgiveness
in this house that we sometimes share
we emptied out our souls and pockets
on whatever that was there
Sad to say

there was never any real love here and no one really cared
what's done is done
Now that our home is completely bare
after today I hope you realize,

I’m gone

Blessings sometimes have thorns, and misery loves company
we can never repair the mess that we have made

since we can’t use our hands to hide the sun

It’s dam clear our life reeks of all the wrongs we have done

After today, you gotta know,

I’m gone

I've spent too many years at war with myself
my psychologist told me all this bullshit is just not good for my health
If I'm going to live in misery in this life
then I rather do it by myself and with out all this dam fuc#ing strife!

It's over,

I’m gone

First of all I love the whole flow of this piece...smooth;
and the feel of frustration and determination is so vivid
that the reader can feel it...really like that!

Lastly I quoted the 2 lines below because they are poignant
and give so much impact to this piece...just awesome lines!

"Blessings sometimes have thorns,"
"And we can't use our hands to hide the sun"
Awesome lines!

I liked the feel of this one...it sort of gained momentum from the beginning until the ending which was like a good jolt from a strong cup of coffee...LOL When we get stuck in a rut in our lives, it's tough to make a change, and most of the time we need something to spur us forward in to a decision that will in the end be better for us.

After today, you gota know, ("gotta")

--that's the only problem that I found in the piece. Nicely done.

"It's over,
I'm gone"

Good for you! Strong and powerful write....packed with resolve and determination
to move on from a 'toxic relationship'. Who needs it?... when life is short and for
living the best we can, without being pulled down into the mire with a relationship
that just doesn't work, for whatever reason.

Keep on with your resolve, keep strong and better days are ahead my friend, trust me!

A great write, thanks for your honesty and sharing...

Helena :)

WEEL KISS YOUR OLD MISERYS GOOD BY WOULD BE THE WORD FOR IT, I DEFENTLY LOVE THE WHOLE THINK YOU WRITTEN IT WELL AND WITH GRACE...SCARED ME ALITTLE AT FIRST BUT THEN I GO THE POINT OF IT...WE ALL SUFFER FROM THINGS IN THE PAST AND HAVE TO FIND THAT TIME TO LET GO OF THAT HURT THAT WE SEEM TO CARRY FOR MANY LONG YEARS NOT LETING GO, BUT THEN SOME HOW DEEP WITH IN OUR SOULS WE FIND THAT STRENGTH AND THAT YOU DID KOODO'S FOR SUCH A WONDERFUL PEICE OF WORK ....

That was a painful kiss Tim! lol
I decided to review this here too -- since it's such a
great piece. I love the flow of it -- truly. But I mainly
like the "take charge of my life" value it displays... awesome! :)

Sometimes we remain stuck in endless misery and
nothingness...
as the minutes turn to hours that turn to days,
that turn into months and years (I think I made my point
there...lol) and before you know it you've wasted a lifetime.

This is empowering! Take charge, kiss it goodbye ....
and start to live. I mean, really live...! :-D

Nice!!

What a great coming out poem. It's sad that it ended this way as I am sure it had a great beginning. But it seems from the tone of the poem that you're happy. It seems a big relief to you that you can now move on with rest of your life.
Great write: Very nice flow somewhat sad undertones with just enough lilt to the overall flow to express the relief you feel.
This one goes to my fav's. Thank you for sharing.
