I’m Gone

 

 

We will never find forgiveness
in this house that we sometimes share
we emptied out our souls and pockets
on whatever that was there
Sad to say

there was never any real love here and no one really cared
what's done is done
Now that our home is completely bare
after today I hope you realize,

I’m gone

Blessings sometimes have thorns, and misery loves company
we can never repair the mess that we have made

since we can’t use our hands to hide the sun

It’s dam clear our life reeks of all the wrongs we have done

After today, you gotta know,

I’m gone


I've spent too many years at war with myself
my psychologist told me all this bullshit is just not good for my health
If I'm going to live in misery in this life
then I rather do it by myself and with out all this dam fuc#ing strife!

It's over,

I’m gone

First of all I love the whole flow of this piece...smooth;
and the feel of frustration and determination is so vivid
that the reader can feel it...really like that!

this poem was good, and it ended nicely
its sometimes better to walk away from things,
then to stay,
sometimes when you stay...
it makes a bad situation worse.

God willing the future will bring smiles. Some experiences and memories should be stored away, forgotten, allowed to fade, especially if life is to be grabbed with both hands in the future. It's there for the living.

Nice job! your poetry always speaks to the soul, and has so much wisdom! that's what I love so much. Many can feel you on this one, ecspecially me. I dated a guy who put me down, who made my condition worse, and called me crazy all the time. And i immoculated it, beign the person I am, and then when he was gone I mended. And I did realize that certain people are just bad for each other, and bring out the worst. I am sure not the first woman he brought the worse out of, but overall, it made me hate myself. And i'm glad i realized that when he was "gone" I became who I am again, The Goddess I deserve to be!
