The Gingerbread Man

The Gingerbread Man

A Poem by T.K. Clay
"

I made this thing

"
If you Run Run Run, as fast as you can
I can't catch you
You're the gingerbread man.
But listen, Mr. Gingerbread man
I can't catch you
But your problems can.
So please
Run Run Run back to me, here
Let's catch each other
And not be afraid to show our tears.
That's right, like that, let's bond
I love you, Gingerbread man
Also OM NOM NOM NOM
Oh
OH NO
S**T
I'M SORRY
NOW YOU'RE RUN RUN RUNNING DOWN MY ESOPHAGUS
WHY OH WHY
DID YOU HAVE TO BE SO DELICIOUS
Um...
Curse my social awkwardness.

LOL! Clever, witty, and memorable!
It has that sort of nonsense that makes you enjoy the read no matter how irrelevant or illogical it seems. Enjoyed this!
