Armies of the same God
March under different banners
Fight, and re-fight the same wars
Sons of the same mother.

Mujahideen and Crusaders
Rip each other piece to piece
And dedicate the massacres
To the Lord of Peace.

Today, I saw the Cross and the Crescent locked
Not in a struggle, or a race;
I saw the Cross and the Crescent
Locked in an embrace
