Flutter

Flutter

A Poem by TTBoy28

By candlelight

the moth cleans my China

My wine glass cracks

Merlot drips so

Such sweet music is played

as if my first

And time plays me rightly

I am California

and my earth quakes

Magnum-sized magnitudes

Thoughts of plunging necklines

Long and plopping dips into my youth

Closed eyes splashing around the

succulent fountain of truth

Never deny the sparks of the light

with more than one way to swallow

No spoon necessary

That’s what a tongue is for
