A conversational poem searching for Lifes answers.

Hello

Do you mind?

If I ask a question

Yes- okay

Let's go

If I see a shattered world

Pieces falling everywhere

Hopes dying right in front

Of my very eyes

Could everything be fine?

Could it just be my broken mind?

I'm sorry

I didn't mean to scare you

It's just that

Sometimes I get this-

This feeling

That everything's an ocean

On fire

No reason to breathe

The waves grow higher

Than I could ever stand

Soft sand

Pulling me downwards

If only

I knew how to swim

Please- no

Don't go

I just trying to tell you

Tell you

How I feel

Just listen

The sky is torn

At the seam

I see into the unknown

While everyone looks

At the sun- so bright

I can't turn away

Am I made of darkness?

Instead of flesh

You're leaving now-

Great

Turn your back on me

Well- fine

I can speak to myself

I've been holding the right stone

Balancing the golden scales

While everyone tells

Some happy tales

And maybe I'm tired

Of looking for the truth

That everyone else lost

This isn't my problem

But it's racking my brain

My broken f*****g mind

Id leave  for the shadows

If only I wasn't afraid

Of the lights turning on

Well- do you get me?
