My experience wearing and not wearing makeup

Don't look at me I don't have my face on.

Are you tired you don't have makeup on.

I didn't have time does it matter?

I guess it does in societies standard.

This is such a short poem but it is so relatable and is very true about today's societies. That's what made me stay. I loved that you chose an everyday topic that many people face and then turned it into something so readable and easy to enjoy. I am really glad I clicked on this because I was very close to not clicking on it. This is a very short poem, but it's almost like you have covered everything you wanted to convey with so much power and eloquence just in those few lines that it really stuck with me. I really enjoyed this poem and I look forward to reading more of your works.

Alice, Thank you so much for your review! I've been struggling with this idea of makeup and beauty which drew me to writing this poem. It's hard to see that with or without makeup there will always be criticism. I really appreciate your kind words.
