Black Widow

Black Widow

A Poem by Tania Leigh

You whispered to me

enchantingly

your sweet,

silky poetry.

You sang it to me

seductively,

all the while

enticing me.

You came to me,

willingly,

courting from

beyond my web.

You reached for me,

foolishly,

then you became

the prey instead.

You begged of me

to set you free, but

I can't, my love, for

you'll soon be dead

"Enchantingly, seductively, willingly, foolishly" I really like the placement of your words within your story-telling poem. I guess he never saw it coming. Excellent write from beginning to end!
