Looking Back

Looking back on all the things that have happened in a relationship

I hold you in my arms

Looking back at our lives together

How we first met

Gosh it makes me giggle

Maybe I didn't know then

But from that day our future was set

 

You were upset because I was late

But after a while you knew

That’s all you could expect

When I laid my eyes on you

You took my breath away

You made me want to

Get down on my knees

And thank God for this angel

 

Thinking of another wonderful moment

Our first kiss. I shake my head at my first attempt

Where you so loving told me no

But later said you were playing hard to get

And was wishing I would try it again

But I didn’t, not even the next time we were together

But other time I decided alright

My heart couldn't end up crushed anymore

So I might as well give it a try

 

That kiss, your lips it was too sweet to let go

And without a though it lead right into sex

I treated you like crystal not wanting to break you

Everytime you said stop that’s what I did

But it wasn't something you meant

But that’s a chance I didn’t want to take

Boy did we connect

 

But that’s just the good times

Cause I know there was so real bad times

Hanging my head in shame

At the pain I once caused you

Almost losing you many times over

There was something in me that needed to chance

And I did it so quickly as we were so close to the end

But I pulled you right back in, into my arms

 

And here we are now in each other embrace

I look at the love that is mine

I look into the eyes of my Angel Eyes

So sweet, so innocent and all mine

I pull her in for a kiss and tell her

She is all that I need in my life

that was beautiful, I love the first two stanza's...wow, this is a very sweet write. I can definitely tell that it was
written for someone specific...the emotions are too real. Or...it could be you're just really good at what you do..either way, I love this write.
