Scars

Scars

A Poem by Natasha

Everywhere,

All over my body.

But no way to get rid of them now.

They are so ugly,

Yet so beautiful,

If you just listen closely

To the stories they tell.

It's so gorgeous. Every scar has a story behind it. No one knows if it's a story to be admired or a story to cry upon except the person who has seen those scars ruining things yet Reminding them of memories or lessons.

This was so beautiful!
I struggle with Anxiety and depression. It sucks sometimes but the cure that I've found is to write! It's the most joyful thing that I do. Just write! It will take away those pains and hardships. I would also like to say that you have real potential in your writing and I am Genuinely surprised how amazing your writing style is! It was fantastic and I just wanted to let you know that you could even one day be a published author/writer if you wanted to! Keep smiling, keep writing, and most importantly. be you! You have a talent and this is a talent that all people should see and read!
I have a story here about my best friend who had cancer, it's called, "The Blonde Girl" you don't have to read it if you don't want to, but I felt like I should share it with you. :)

Your friend,

You're more then welcome! :)
Women have scars and think they make them ugly, but like the words say if you listen they (scars) will tell a story... To me they are not scars, not flaws but stories that live and she that a woman has lived.. Nice write

I agree, thank you!
"Everywhere,
All over my body.
But no way to get rid of them now." - this has so many implications. I got worried about what was on the narrators body, then I looked at myself and thought of spiders and creeped myself out. It was only after these lines that I took the title into consideration. Very strong beginning.

"They are so ugly,
Yet so beautiful,
If you just listen closely
To the stories they tell." - very relatable to people who are self conscious about scars and the incidents behind them.

Overall, this is a short piece that gives me a lot to think about. I enjoy the affirmation that they can be beautiful depending on the individuals acceptance of them. Great work, thank you for sharing. Write on.

I don't think I have, I'll check it out!
I can see the hidden meaning behind the words wrote here. Well, they're not really hidden, but they are a message that touch the heart. This is beautiful and unfortunately, this connects with me in many ways.

This is a wonderful piece and I enjoyed reading it. Thank you for sharing these thoughts.
