My hand curled around a pencil
My pencil lead as sharp as a knife and ready to work
My computer ready to input the words of my mind
My keys on my keyboard waiting to type out the next story or poem
The best feeling in the world
Writing the words of my imagination

First draft, second draft, third draft, bam
Edited, revised, published, boom
Alter it, change it, share it, wam
Thinking it, writing it, imagining it, woo
The best feeling in the world

Writing is a physical feeling
Writing is an emotional feeling

Enjoyed Tasha....I only write on the computer...I dont use a pen as i edit too much even after I post I usually edit at least once....and I like using my laptop to write instead of the desktop because its more comfortable then sitting at the computer....SyberRose

Glad you enjoyed it. I don't write with pen and paper, either. It just came out when I was writing the poem. I always write on my laptop. Mainly because it's so much faster than writing it on paper. Plus, my handwriting is kind of sloppy.

I don't often edit my writing more then once, occasionally twice...I know, I'm weird like that. This poem reminds me of my own thoughts about writing...good work!
