The White Wolf of Holodale

The White Wolf of Holodale

A Poem by Taylor Jackson
"

"We all know the white wolf here..." The guardian of the people.

"
If you don't know the story of the White Wolf of Holodale,
then sit down and prepare for a glorious adventure tale.

For those who walk the path from Kate to Sheay
Know they what dangers head their way.
For the path they walk is full of danger,
But they do not fear because of a mysterious stranger.

The White Wolf of Holodale whose howl could call,
A mountain's coat of white to fall.
A guardian of the people see..
One who protects you and me.

There was once a story of Calius the brave,
who attempted to cross the River Strave.
But his journey was halted in a storm of snow,
And his life was fading, his breathe now cold.
When out of the shadows a white ghost came,
And dispersed the storm with a howl proclaim.
And there Calius stood, in shock, and frail,
for before him stood the White Wolf of Holodale.
The wolf eyes gleamed, and Calius knew,
His life was saved a his life renewed.
The wolf then fled into the forest dark,
And Calius had a story, a thrilling ark.

So when you ask of the White Wolf's tale,
Don't ask the people of Holodale,
For they'll answer with smile from ear to ear,
We all know of the White Wolf here..
