Greener pastures

Greener pastures

A Poem by Tina
"

The grass isn't always greener on the other side.

"
There is no Greener pasture.
No matter how much you run
to escape your life. You wind
up with a new problems or
 Worse ones.  Stop running and
make your own land green and
beautiful. It takes work and
courage but if you stick around
something wonderful might
happen and you'll miss it.

Good advice! We often think things could be better somewhere else, but those greener pastures are usually an illusion. If we have any problems we are unlikely to solve them simply by moving on. Those problems will probably come along with us! We need to face our problems and work out a way to fix them, or overcome them.

How very true.. how clearly laid before your readers! None of us are too old for such a kind and logical reminder, Tina. It is always best to look on the bright side of life if possible. Looking for flaws and blots does nothing to or for the human spirit.. that you and I agree! Life is a box of chocolates, you never know how it will taste until you try it and more than likely you will find similar in another guise another time. Try try again and keep hoping, yes?!

Great advice in a nice little package. So much truth rings in your words I read today. There is no such thing as greener grass, different grass maybe but not greener.

You are right dear Tina. Like the old saying. "The grass may look greener on the other side of the fence. Till you test the soil." Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry and your thoughts.

You are welcome dear Tina.
We live in a throw away society. So easy to clear off to pastures new. It takes guts to stand up, face your problems and work through them. A big thank you to my four grandparents for teaching me that lesson. Nicely penned brevity Tina.

Once learned, never forgotten Tina :)
A lot of truthful wisdom in these words. Now a days people are to eager to abandon paths taken because the roads may be a little rocky. All roads have bumps on them, they're called lessons. Learning from them helps smooth the road. Be better.
