I look into your beautiful blue eyes child

And I see so many possibilities

I see laughter and kindness

I see yearning to belong

I see innocent confusion and unanswered questions

I see a pure love and unfaltering trust

I see a delicate and gentle soul

I see you, my son

I see you as perfection without even trying

You are and will always be perfect to me
