My Love

My Love

A Poem by Sophles

My princess ,
you are worth more than this world can give you
You've be burnt by all this brutality
and I can sense from your childish whims
that all you need is a careful hand.
My angel,
you deserve more than I can give,
you need a love as strong as life
and an honest opinion:
you have the prettiest soul I've ever found
My baby girl,
I see as your eyes light up
that you are in love,
but there's darkness behind them
from a life before hand
from tragedies that struck.
My love,
It hurts to think of you in pain
when I look at your scars
and think of you hurt beyond belief.
The way you think of your self is disgusting
It's not true and wish I could show you
how I see you in my eyes
I am blinded by your beauty...

and I honest cant believe anyone wouldn't be.

It is hard saying what you are trying to say to a person so brought down by hurt and life. You have to give them lil things to believe and trust in before they can even comprehend the big thing of their own self-worth. It takes time and caring to overcome doubt and hurts.

As for the poem, well, I understood what you wanted to do - didn't I? It was rough and had some stumbles but you already knew that... but I did understand.
