Strangers

 

They met in the alley of

“the lost and the brokenhearted.”

He saw her, and she saw him.

 

He was almost giving up his dream

as he banged the strings of his guitar.

And she was almost fading in the midst of

a broken romance.

 

Together, they lifted their heads to the heavens

and wondered what life has in store for them.

And there seems to be a sign of the hope

they’ve been waiting for

--a second chance.
