A lost, lost soul

A lost, lost soul

A Poem by Terohime

A little girl lost in a sea of doubt,
One that was created by a shout,
Filled with tears and sorrow,
She dreams about what may come tomorrow.
A scarred child with no where to run,
She hides under her covers and wonders what she's done,
Unable to shed any more tears,
She just lays down and covers her ears.
While the world is fast asleep,
Her heart skips a beet,
Foot steps slowly approach her door,
As she starts to scream NO MORE!!
The night drags on,
Longer then the one before,
Her body lays motionless upon the cold, damp floor,
As her heart breaks a little more.
A child once sweet,
A child once so calm,
Has now begun to fall,
In to a deep deep dark hole,
Where there is no light at all.

heartbreaking and poignant. The scars speaks of the brutality of the cold, dark world in which the soul struggles and suffocates Hope the light finds its way to the lost, bruised souls.

oh my, this is worse than murder---because this kind of abuse murders innocence...the very people kids should be able to trust most to love and care for them, love them in the wrong way...
and the light goes out for the night, and for life....
