Inception

Inception

A Poem by Nyx
"

We will destroy all that we create.

"
Hide only your roots, not your face
Remember the feeling of animalistic rage
When the blood boils from your veins like fire
The magmatic chambers of your heart inspire
The destruction of divine, I plea to thee
My hands covered in ash, embers of deity
Eyes glazed over with a spirit of wild
Trees burn down, plains catch fire
Incendiary blazes surround the city
Of glass constellations, malleable in physicality
You’re left on the streets, dust and decay
Cover the people, you cry and pray-
“Please, my God, bring back paradise!”
But the thick stump of the tree of life
Is overrun with viscous parasites

This could be related to the destruction of of our own universe, the pollution, the gasses, our own planet's demise. Is God doing this, because we are sinners? or is this of our own hands???.
Best, B.
