A YEAR'S QUOTA.

A YEAR'S QUOTA.

A Poem by Terry Collett
"

AN OFFICE APPRAISAL AND WHAT TO SAY OR NOT.

"

I have no idea
what to write
on my pre-appraisal
work form.

"Do you have
any skills
not currently
being utilised
in your
day to day job?"

As matter of fact
I used to be
in a barbershop quartet
in Skokie,
Illinois.

Apparently
I’m supposed
to contribute 70%
of the conversation
in the meeting.

As you all know
(at least those
who know
me at all)
I’m a man
of very few words;

so that’s like
my entire
talking quota
for the rest
of the year.
