I FORGET

I FORGET

A Poem by Terry Collett
"

A DEPRESSED PERSON.

"

There is light
from afar
but around
there is dark
and voices
around me.

Don't tell them
let them wait
hear Mozart
string quartet
the players
ghostly ones
unsmiling.

Someone sings
baritone
another
soprano
a duet
who they are
I forget.
