Time's Melody

Time will drift along
It will continue the same song
The march forward is steady
At times, I'm with it
At others, it leaves me
Sometimes it feels forever
Sometimes but a bit
Once my soul shall stir
Entropy envelops life
Once I'll feel a bite

I walk with steady pace
A gentle breeze across my face
Tranquil and serene it is
Across time itself I go
Echoes of life, it will show
Mirages of hope, I will see
Forward nonetheless, for I must breathe
Time will drift along
It will continue the same song
The melody rings through everyone's soul
As we march to eternity, on this patrol

We will live, we will breathe, we will be
