Best Laid Plans

Best Laid Plans

A Chapter by Texas
"

Though this picture isn't in black and white, those that knew me will hopefully understand the meaning of the picture and of the poem. Even though I'm now going in a different direction.

"

Best laid plans don't always go the way you want them to.

Like a friend said, if you think that something that helps move those plan is a waste of time,

Then it becomes a waste of your time and you fail.

But failed best laid plans can be redone,

As long as you work hard and don't think that anything is a waste of time.

Best laid plans are a way to a goal,

You have to work hard and do your best with these plans in order to reach that goal.

It is like anything else- you get out of it, what you put into it. Every human being has something he or she can teach you. Even a homeless person can teach you a lot about survival. The trick is to see past the ego long enough to recognize what is imoprtant in the message. I hope you do get the chance to try again, and I hope you do splendidly next time. I speak hard words, but they are the worlds of personal experience. As Gibran says in "The Prophet", of those who are "swifter and surer of foot, yet remove not the stumbling block". It is our duty to help others see and break down their own stumbling blocks.
