A Killer I've Seen

A Killer I've Seen

A Poem by A.S. Roy
"

I'm not sure what this is about. It came to me in a dream so I wrote it in a poem.

"

I have a story for you
of my love for a killer
and his cold heart too

See I met him once or twice
on a sunny afternoon
He said he had killed thrice
But I didn't take him for a loon'

I said simply 'I'm not scared'
And with a malicion grin
I asked him, I dared-
if he'd kill me with sin

He just smiled and he snickered
And I watched him-
as he bickered

'I shant' said he.

I saw in his cold eyes

a love, no...  a blood lust

Which had overflown

from dawn to dusk

He sat and he hummed

And I wondered of this

And suddenly I was 'bummed'

Lost of love and all bliss

Suddenly I woke up in my bed

I rubbed my eyes-

And shook my head-

Stupid dream I despise!

I absolutely loved the ending of this write! It was really good, and the rhyme scheme was terrific! The way you describe his antics made this even more perfect, and I simply loved this. This must be one of the best poems I've read these past two days, and that's good, because I read through tons and tons of poems every day. Anyways, amazing job!
