A Poem by Th3Authr

I wrote this for my darling, Jasmine. Long distance relationships are confusing sometimes, but hearing from them is all the more special. <3 I love you Jasmine. 1070 miles can't compete with us!

Your every word
3 Point Font
Blurred with want...
My spirit stirred.

A to B
An endless sea
Of towns and towers
Between you and me.

One-thousand seventy.

Abscence makes the heart grow fonder?
Does it really? I suppose it must...
If fondess entails endlessly wondering what...
will happen, then yes, indeed, it does.

Wishes... such base, thin things...
Nonetheless, prithee, hear my plea.
Shorten the miles between she and I...

All one-thousand seventy.

My nightly visions.
In 3 point font.
As you are in waking life...
So you are, also, in my dreams.

Restricted but free
To fully love thee...
The distance is relative...
Love over miles is our key...

All one-thousand and seventy.

Author's Note

I kind of wrote it on the fly, when inspiration hit, so please excuse the mistakes, if there are any... she loves it, by the way. <3

I am a simple high-school student. I write when I have the urge. I suppose my writing is passable, though I am more interesting in Linguistics and interpreting Sign Language and such. Flash fiction i.. more..
