Walk With Me

Walk With Me

A Poem by Creepy Swine Guy

Walk with me, on summer shores

where the water laps warmly at

our unprotected toes.

Walk with me, through green forests,

still dripping with the fragrance

of cleansing rains.

Sit with me, on the front porch

where the climbing sun burns the

morning fog from the valley.

Sit with me, on the back porch,

where the blaze orange sun

gently bids us good night.

Stay with me. Soothe me with your

soft, gentle words and calming

countenance. Love me.

What? Lemme read this again....yup, Dani is right. Where did this soft, gentle soul emerge from? Ahhhh, what soothing words, what tender thoughts. The last line brings it all together. What'd I tell ya bout that love thang? Get's ya every time. Love is good. It's verra good, and you just expressed a wonderful, hidden desire for it. :)

Well written. I feel as if I just took a walk and experienced the things you wrote about. Great word pictures. Enjoyed!

Cheers!

I love this, in fact, I just saw the country awards, donno what the awards are called, but one thing that they touch upon is love, when asked what they write about, a universal theme, even in loneliness, there is such sentiment, great write! ----mishel

This is very touching and beautiful. It has such a soft, soothing and tender quaility to it...a beckoning, almost irresistable appeal for you to enter and answer this universal desire for intimacy and affection. It bears the honestly I think woman truly desire.

Jerry, I was so glad to see you write a piece that sounds very personal and wistful but still so you. It is wonderful
after reading the reviews of this piece It seems many people don't know about the heart of gold that lurks behind the swine facade. LOL. That seem strange as It was the heart behind the words that made me start reading your work. Hugs Debby

Jerry, wow....

This is so warm and sweet. You write about love so well that I almost believe it exist. ; )

I like the softer side of you, Jerry, it feels real.

This is very nice in the words themselves but also it speaks to me as if you are ticking off the reasons why the being together just feels .... well, right. Let's take it sweet and slow and mostly importantly....together. Let's appreciate all the simple and lovely things right here and available for us together.....

Very nice Jerr.

I might leave the commas out after walk with me and sit with me. I'm not sure you need them. The voice pauses naturally, I think. It's beautiful and lovely. It has a natural gentle cadence that draws the reader in. Nice work.
