Celestial Theif

Celestial Theif

A Poem by Vincent Maltese
"

Painful Truth

"

Tonight I realized the game you play.
And I thought I saw the world in your heart And the stars in your eyes.
But suddenly reaching out, grabbing one.
I realize, they don’t belong in your eyes.
You don’t deserve them.

I like the way it's written and they wonder why we build our emotional wall. Solid!!

Ah, sometimes the summer night, or the beauty that fills a lovely day can sweep you off your feet. Feelings swell. Pulses race. Hopes build. Then, nothing happens. We have all been on the giving, and the recieving side of that scenario. It is natures truest dance, but here we know not who we will leave the dance floor with when it is over. It happens all the time, innocently. But it hurts so much more when you have been mislead.

Woah. What a rebuff! Harsh but pretty.
