Karmic Appreciation

Love must be earned. It's simple, really.

Strong enough to break the spell
of a siren's call,
masses upon masses, of this love
with no mass at all.
This earthbound, flighty abstraction,
felt truly by so few,
makes me shiveringly wonder anew
how much karma is yet to be served,
to deserve
one
such as you.
