Keepers of the night

Keepers of the night

A Poem by Rubein Geterminah
"

The night was filled with rhythms, rhythms of music & moon beans... tells of the beauty of rural life and the abundance of nature appreciation that the dwellers realize.

"
The night was filled with rhythms
Rhythms of music & moon beans for our pagan
Selves, while darkness stupidities
Veiled our secrets through our abilities
As we promiscuous in the music sending the elderly to sleep.

And the night was pacific
As all was light, abundance light not to a specific
Hut; as we danced putting our nerves on fire
While liars said,
'We can do it better', but ne'er made that show of it.

The night our mortal foe
Was our ally. Her lore ( the moon), waited to behold
Our childish festival until our nerves retired
Aft that, we ceased leaving her higher
To wake with dusty feet as keepers of the night.

Author's Note

Rubein Geterminah
The keepers of the night were identifiable by their dusty feet.
This was the marker of the dancers and musicians of the night in such rural setting.

The best writers are those who had enough time to play in their children stages as seen in the poem.
"The night was filled with rhythms of music & moon beans....", tells of the abundance of nature and the gladness of the musicians in this beautiful artistic work.
